wow, after 2 and a half weeks off it's not been easy going back to work! What a drag.

Good news is tomorrow I have my first life drawing class! I'm not exactly looking forward to getting up early for the next 5 Saturdays to be in central London by 10am but I'm hopeful my drawing will benefit Wish me luck!

**First things first though - if you see art of someone you know being misused, contact the actual owner of the art (i.e. the copyright holder) so they can contact the site to get it removed otherwise, sadly, you probably won't be helping. Oh, and if your art does get stolen, check out the news article in my favourite news thingy on my main page - very helpful advice.




Do a search on your DA name in Photobucket. If you find something of yours you can contact them here to get it removed.

Guilty Parties: [link] *is rather cross* As you can see I did and there's 2 pages of people who've helped themselves to my pictures... (I dread to think what I'll find if I dig deeper and search by my dragons' names) I think I'll be contacting the site to get them removed 'cos I certainly didn't tell anyone they could post my art on Photobucket for all and sundry to use! And absolutely there shouldn't be any pictures of my character dragons (like Bloodbane) because I don't allow anyone to use my character pictures!!!

I haven't had the heart to look through this site yet, but apparently there's lots of people's artwork on being advertised as 'free clip art'. huh.

Also, just quoting Kyrn on why these sites are an issue:
"An important thing to note about these sites is even if the art was credited, it's being used on sites with ads, and sometimes being offered as prints or mobile phone wallpaper without permission. They both offer code that encourages hotlinking everywhere else a lot of these images end up on bootleg products on ebay."
