Ah. Hello DA. I'm not dead! I've been taking a bit of a back seat in life of late. 'tis just a phase I'm sure but I've not been getting a whole lot of art or, well, anything done lately.

I signed on yesterday morning and thought 'bloody 'ell, where'd all those come from?' when I saw all the new watchers (thanks for the watches, btw!), then saw I had a Daily Deviation! Yay! Heheh, even better, it's probably my favourite out of all the pictures I drew last year so I'm well happy!

So a big thank you to for suggesting my piece I'm grateful and humbled.

So, a week later..

The Expo went pretty well 'cept my table was near the exit and I think by the time anyone got to it they'd either spent all their money or were too knackered to shop some more Still, my table did ok but the main thing is I had a great time! It was nice meeting folks and chatting and putting a couple of faces to names off DA and of course seeing some familiar faces from the previous expos

In the end I didn't go to the cosplay ball on the Saturday evening because I think my head may have exploded if I didn't get some peace and quiet (once again my table was too close to the main stage area).

I've been having a break this week - haven't been drawing or using the internet much which makes for a change (which is why I haven't gotten back to any notes/comments for a few days). I think I might extend this internet-break a bit longer, maybe do some drawing but not get back online again since I found I was slipping back into the old pattern of piddling around for hours online and not getting anything I actually wanted to do done.



And for those who read my previous journals, I'm kinda happy to say I've been feeling a bit happier these past couple of weeks. In the end I made the decision and showed Steri that angry journal and we had a pretty reasonable discussion on the matter. I'm still pretty sad over the whole break-up thing but at least finally getting my side of things heard gave me a little closure because there were things there that I simply could not vocalise.
In fact, though hopefully I'm not speaking too soon, I feel a bit like I've turned a corner... somehow it's like there's a horrible weight gone from my shoulders. That can only be a good thing, right?

And I just saw the last episode of the current series of Supernatural. *waves fist at the writers* how could they end it like that?! And how long do we have to wait for the next season?
