Another outing for my colour pencils. Done back in January. I was signed off work for a month but got a disappointingly small amount of art done.. but then I wasn't all that well so it shouldn't be such a surprise. I didn't quite get the flesh colour right for his face, but I find skin a tricky one with pencils. It's a bit grainy too but that's just the paper texture.
Not the first time I've drawn Blackjack to this sort of theme, and probably not the last. He's not all malice and violence, you know  (although that side of his personality is enormous fun to depict).... I have slightly shot myself in the foot now. I was going to upload the next page of Heritage but it's kind of the same theme as this. Guess I'll leave it for a few uploads' time to preserve some form of variety to my gallery (yes I'm aware of the irony). |
