Commission. Vanguard

A commission for of a Vanguard - the alien race from his novels. I'm really happy with how this one came up, especially the colours.


I was a little worried at first with the colouring on this. Vanguard are primarily a grayish hue and I was concerned it might come up a bit dull... but as I found out there's a lot you can do with grey I also felt bad because this took a long, long time but as anyone who's been following me a while knows, the last couple of years have been a bit up and down. A definite advantage to the delay though is my anatomy's markedly improved. I certainly wouldn't call it perfect but it's better than it would have been a year ago.
